Green innovation in manufacturing enterprises and intelligent transformation

Global socio-economic change is highly influenced by green innovation and intelligent transformation. This study objectively examines the connection between intelligent transformation and green innovation of manufacturing enterprises, using a test of A-promoted listed manufacturing enterprises in China from 2015 to 2022. The results reveal that intelligent transformation considerably enhances green innovation degrees in manufacturing enterprises. Government subsidies, government supervision, market competition, and social pressure positively impact the link between intelligent transformation and green innovation. Non-heavy-polluting industries and enterprises in northeast China show greater advantages in intelligent transformation, with more marked improvements in green innovation efficiency. This study explores the underlying causes of green innovation and provides helpful advice on using intelligent transformation to achieve lasting technology.
