EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF COCONUT FIBER WITH REINFORCED CONCRETE
The potential use of coconut fiber as an additional reinforcing material in concrete is discussed in this research.Concrete uses a variety of fibers.Coconut fibers are inexpensive and readily available in huge quantities. The workability, compressive strength, and split tensile strength of coconut fiber reinforced concrete are all determined experimentally in this study.Six percentages, namely 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, and 5% of coconut fiber by weight of cement, were used to partially replace the cement. For seven and twenty-eight days, the cured concrete's compressive and split tensile strengths are assessed. These findings demonstrate whether or not coconut fiber may be utilized in building.
