Statics and modal analysis of compound shaft lever system based on ANSYS

Abstract In order to ensure the accuracy and safety of the composite shaft lever system during operation, this paper simplified the structure of the composite shaft lever system and constructed the three-dimensional model by using SolidWorks, and carried out static and modal analysis of the composite shaft lever system by using Ansys finite element analysis software. The results of static analysis show that the maximum deformation of the composite shaft lever system is 1.1289mm, located at the end of the lever body, and the maximum stress is 66.953MPa, located at the connection between the lever body and the lever shaft, which is less than the yield strength of the whole material. The modal analysis results show that the first six natural frequencies of the composite shaft lever system range from 56.614Hz to 524.95Hz, which is different from the excitation frequency of 0-15Hz, so the composite shaft lever system will not generate resonance in the working process. The research results provide a theoretical basis for the structural design and optimization of the subsequent composite shaft lever system.
