Research on the propagation mechanism of acoustic and vibration signals in large power transformers

Abstract The vibration voiceprint signals generated by transformers propagate through liquid paths, solid paths, and gas paths such as transformer oil, components, and air. The process of generating, transmitting, and causing oil tank vibration inside transformers is a response problem of multi-stage series filter systems. This article compares and analyzes the modal characteristics of empty oil tanks and filled oil tanks, and studies the transmission characteristics of internal vibrations in transformer oil and solid paths, respectively.
