Quantum genetic algorithm based fixed value verification of distributed grid relay protection

Abstract When determining the fixed value of relay protection, the convergence speed is slow, and it is easy to be confined to the local optimal solution, which directly leads to a decrease in the accuracy of the fixed value of relay protection. In this regard, we propose to conduct research on the fixed value of relay protection of distributed power grids based on the quantum genetic algorithm. Considering the complexity and variability of distributed power grids, a logic library of relay protection values is designed by constructing an intelligent formula system and unifying current protection, voltage protection and distance protection into a current protection mode. Using a quantum genetic algorithm, the optimal or near-optimal relay protection value scheme is rapidly located by iteratively updating the state of the quantum chromosome population. Relying on the constructed relay protection fault information library and the designed fixed value logic library, various protection forms in the grid are transformed into a unified current protection mode. The optimized fixed value based on the quantum genetic algorithm is imported. Through the task scheduling, independent operation of computing nodes and integration of the result summary of the intelligent calibration process, the calibration report of the fixed value scheme of the protection is finally generated, and then the alarm information, thus realizing the calibration of the fixed value scheme of the distributed power grid. The verification report and alarm information of the relay protection fixed value scheme are finally generated, and the distributed power grid is realized. The experimental results show that the research method can significantly improve the accuracy of relay waveform transmission and the accuracy of relay protection value calibration in distributed power grids, thus improving the accuracy of relay protection value calibration.
