Structural and Thermal Efficiency Analysis of Electromagnetic Boiler Based on Finite Element Method

Abstract In the cleaning heating device, hot water can effectively remove oil stains and other impurities. The temperature of hot water, heating speed and heating efficiency all have a significant impact on the cleaning result. Electromagnetic heating is a safe, stable and efficient heating method with rapid heating. To optimize the structure of the electromagnetic boiler to improve the cleaning efficiency, the electromagnetic induction heating process is simulated and analyzed based on the finite element analysis method. On the basis of the original basic model, a double-layer heating method is proposed, with the heating pipe placed between the inner and outer water are as to enhance the heat exchange efficiency. Meanwhile, in the analysis, the influence of the thickness of the magnetic isolation pipe, the thickness of the heating pipe and the thickness of the fluid channel between the pipes on the electromagnetic heating process is considered. Calculations are carried out for various different working conditions, and through analysis, it is found that the new structure can significantly increase the maximum outlet temperature and heat exchange efficiency. Just like the original basic model, a reduction in the thickness of the magnetic isolation pipe, the thickness of the heating pipe and the thickness of the fluid channel between the pipes is all conducive to enhancing the electromagnetic heating effect. In the working conditions calculated by the author, the electromagnetic heating effect is the strongest when the thickness of the magnetic isolation pipe is 4.5 mm, the thickness of the heating pipe is 4 mm and the thickness of the fluid channel between the pipes is 6.5 mm, with an average outlet temperature of 340.26 K.
