Tomographic reconstruction of 3d density fields in hydrogen-air mixture flows: numerical validation and parameter optimization
Abstract This study validated the feasibility of a non-invasive tomographic 3D reconstruction method based on Background Oriented Schlieren (BOS) through numerical simulations generating synthetic data. Results demonstrate that utilizing a pairwise orthogonal arrangement of 10 camera views with a relaxation factor 0.5 and Tikhonov regularization can effectively suppress artifacts and enhance reconstruction accuracy for complex turbulent structures while reducing iteration counts. This research provides theoretical guidance for BOS experimental system projection design and algorithm parameter optimization, confirming the method’s applicability in hydrogen-air mixture flow field diagnostics.
