552. EFFECTS OF SOCIAL JETLAG ON THE DIFFERENT RISK OF ANXIETY BETWEEN WOMEN AND MEN: INSIGHTS FROM THE TAIWAN BIOBANK PROJECT
Abstract Background Sleep jet lag (SJL) means difference of sleep time between weekdays and weekend consumption. The influence of SJL on anxiety was noticed in previous studies but the results was debatable. Aims & Objectives We analyzed the influence of SJL on anxiety by using data from the Taiwan Biobank (TWB), established in 2012. Method Participants in TWB were included in our study, with a total of 41,290 respondents included for analysis. To investigate SJL on the influence of depression and anxiety, we surveyed their SJL and anxiety by GAD-2. To estimate the odds of SJL, we also collected their other covariate data such as alcohol, tobacco, and age to adjust the risk in or study. Results We found that even though the total participants in the group of SJL were more than two hours with more risk to take anxiety than participants in the group of SJL fewer than two hours (AOR with 95% CI: 1.15 (1.01-1.32)). Nevertheless, we divided participants into women and men, only women were found to be significantly probabilities having anxiety. (AOR with 95% CI in men: 0.95 (0.73-1.24) AOR with 95% CI in women: 1.23 (1.06-1.43)) The other covariates such as alcohol, tobacco, coffee or tea use will be assessed latter. Discussion & Conclusions The different influence of SJL on anxiety was noticed. More detail covariate analysis such as alcohol, tobacco, and age groups would be presented in the conference. The association between SJL and anxiety will be performed with comprehensive examination later in the conference.
