Development and empirical analysis of quality cities evaluation system based on an indicator model

As China's urbanization process shifts from high-speed development to high-quality development, the urbanization development model is undergoing profound changes. In this context, urban assessment plays a crucial role in addressing modern urban challenges, optimizing urban management efficiency, and promoting high-quality urban development. Based on the core requirements of urban development, this paper systematically explores the connotations and characteristics of quality cities from multidimensional perspectives including economy, society, ecology, and culture. Building on the research of the components and relationships of quality cities, an evaluation system for quality cities is constructed, encompassing an evaluation index system, evaluation methods, and analysis of evaluation results. The feasibility of this method is verified through empirical research.
