Design of FDM Full-Color 3D Printer Based on Four Primary Colors
In order to solve the problems of high cost, low printing accuracy and poor printing color of Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) 3D printers on the market, a complete FDM full-color 3D printer solution is proposed. Firstly, based on theory of Fused Deposition Modeling and CMYK color mixing theory, the hardware system and software system of FDM full-color 3D printer were designed respectively. Then, through simulation analysis and verification, the color printer print head is optimized. Finally, the virtual extruder is set up for physical color mixing. The equipment can print a variety of vivid color products, achieve the goals of high precision, low cost, rapid prototyping and easy operation, and has excellent application prospects and promotion value.
