Radar Active Interference Recognition Based on Characteristic Parameters

This paper addresses the challenge of radar signal classification and recognition in complex electromagnetic environments. Specifically, it focuses on suppressed jamming, deception jamming, interrupted-sampling repeater jamming, and radar target signals. To this end, seven characteristic parameters extracted from time-domain, frequency-domain, and time-frequency domain analyses. The validity of these parameters for classification is verified using three traditional classifiers under various jamming-to-noise ratio (JNR) conditions. Additionally, to evaluate the generalization ability of the extracted features, experimental modifications to the generation conditions of the test set feature parameters were conducted. Results indicate that when JNR exceeds 5 dB, the extracted feature parameters exhibit robust stability and separability, effectively distinguishing between different types of radar signals.
