EV-EB Collaborative Distribution Network Recovery Strategy
In recent years, the frequent occurrence of extreme disasters has severely threatened the stable operation of urban power systems. Following disasters that damage the power system, electric vehicles (EVs) and electric buses (EBs) can provide power support to the system through Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) and Bus-to-Grid (B2G) technologies. This paper proposes a resilience-oriented recovery strategy for distribution networks based on the collaboration of EVs and EBs. First, in the pre-disaster stage, a travel chain is used to characterize the operation of each EV and EB. Then, a spatiotemporal network model is used to characterize the movement of EB, and the multi-period EB scheduling is formulated as a mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) problem to optimize the strategy. Finally, a 33-node distribution network case study is conducted to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method. The results show that the model can restore up to 72.69% of the distribution network load when the main power source output is reduced to 40% after the disaster. The collaboration of EVs and EBs offers a new solution for rapid post-disaster recovery and is a powerful tool for using distributed resources to restore the grid.
