Multifeature Priority Decision and Optimization for Multisensor Multiple Extended Target Tracking Using GTSM Function
This article focuses on the issues of determining multi-target tracking priorities and a multi-feature joint optimization sensor control strategy for elliptical extended targets. As sensor accuracy continues to improve, adding contour features of the target into tracking, classification, and optimization becomes essential. However, existing multi-target situational assessment functions and sensor control strategies rarely incorporate contour information. To address this limitation, a new situational assessment function is introduced to prioritize targets for tracking by integrating the kinematics of the target and the size and geometric features of the target. Based on this assessment, a multi-feature joint optimization sensor control strategy is developed to simultaneously optimize the kinematic and extended states of the target, as well as its measurement rate. The proposed algorithm evaluates the tracking priority of multiple extended targets and performs multi-feature joint optimization on a selected subset to enhance tracking accuracy for the most critical targets. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed approach is validated through simulation results.
