Adaptación argentina de la escala de tiempo compartido en la pareja
Time-sharing refers to the availability towards the other partner and the use that is made of it. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the couple time-sharing scale in a sample from Entre Ríos, Argentina. A total of 471 young people and adults between 17 and 60 years of age were evaluated; 326 women and 145 men participated. The Couple Time-Sharing Scale and the Personal Self-Determination Scale were used. A confirmatory factor analysis of the time-sharing scale was conducted, its internal consistency was assessed using Cronbach's alpha and Spearman-Brown, and a Pearson's r correlation analysis was developed between time-sharing values and a measure of personal self-determination. The findings indicate that the instrument has appropriate psychometric properties to be used in the Argentinean context, using a two-dimensional model.
