AI in Wind Energy Prediction and Optimization Techniques Review
This paper presents a review of recent advances in the application of artificial intelligence (AI) to wind energy optimisation. The paper examines the use of key AI techniques, including machine learning, deep learning, and heuristic algorithms, in addressing challenges in wind speed prediction, power scheduling, and energy storage management. While AI shows great potential, there are still limitations to be addressed, including those related to data quality and computational complexity. The paper concludes with an examination of future directions, including hybrid modelling for real-time applications and edge computing.
