Analysis of Flexible Adjustment Potential of Flexible Resources Under Virtual Power Plant
In the context of energy transformation goals, building a highly resilient smart grid has become a key task. This chapter deeply studies the regulation potential of flexible resources such as air conditioning, lighting, electric vehicles, and energy storage and their multiple roles in power systems. For flexible loads, such as air conditioning and lighting, their adjustment characteristics under the premise of satisfying user comfort are analyzed. By establishing an adjustment model, the adjustable power range is quantified. For electric vehicles, their regulation potential as a distributed energy storage unit is discussed, taking into account factors such as residual capacity, charging and discharging power, and transfer time. In terms of energy storage, the calculation formulas of discharge and charging regulation potential are derived, and the dynamic constraint mechanism of energy storage capacity and power is revealed. These analyses provide a theoretical basis for the subsequent optimal configuration and coordinated control and promote the transformation of the new power system to a green and intelligent direction.
