A Method of Interval Reactive Power Planning for Distribution Grid Considering the Uncertainty of Wind Power
To address the safety hazards brought by renewable energy integration, this paper proposes a scenario optimization-based interval power flow calculation and reactive power planning method. Firstly, an interval power flow model based on Distflow is developed to handle uncertainties in renewable energy output and load fluctuations, and its effectiveness in mitigating voltage violations and power flow changes is validated on an modified IEEE 33-bus system. Then, the reactive power planning is divided into determining the locations of reactive power compensation devices and optimizing their capacities by establishing a comprehensive cost minimization model. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that this method effectively reduces network losses and ensures system stability.
