Multifunctional Bioactive Dual‐Layered Nanofibrous Matrix for Effective Breast Cancer Therapy and Enhanced Wound Healing (Small 31/2025)
Breast Cancer Therapy In article number 2500717, Hyun-Jong Cho, Ki-Bum Lee, and co-workers show the anticancer effect within the tumor microenvironment following applying a dual-layered nanofibrous matrix to skin tissue after breast cancer surgery. The matrix, fabricated via electrospinning, features distinct layers that release therapeutic agents. This layered drug delivery enhances interaction with tumor cells, disrupts the cancer-supporting environment, and promotes tumor suppression with NIR laser application.
