Single‐Atom Iridium‐doped Carbon Dots Nanozyme with High Peroxidase‐Like Activity as Colorimetric Sensors for Multimodal Detection of Mercury Ions (Small 31/2025)
Colorimetric Sensors In article number 2408785, Shangcheng Xu and co-workers doped carbon dots with iridium in the form of single atoms to achieve maximum atomic utilization with high peroxidase-like activity to 178.81 U/mg. A novel colorimetric detection platform was developed which exhibited high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability in detecting mercury ions and enabled multimodal detection through the naked eye, UV-vis spectrometry, and smartphones.
