Building Intelligence and Green Energy Saving Technology Based on BIM

With the gradual modernisation of building construction, BIM technology shows great potential in the field of intelligent buildings and green buildings, providing technical support for the sustainable development and intelligence of the construction industry. This paper takes the office building of a large-scale green industrial park project as an example, and explores the applications of collision detection, pipeline optimisation and roaming using BIM technology. At the same time, in response to the global goal of energy conservation and emission reduction, the project uses BIM technology to innovatively design a rooftop garden and an intelligent rainwater collection system and intelligent irrigation system, providing new ideas for green energy conservation in office buildings. The rooftop garden can increase green coverage, improve the urban heat island effect, and enhance heat insulation and heat preservation. The intelligent rainwater collection system and intelligent irrigation system designed in conjunction with the rooftop garden reduce the reliance on tap water by efficiently collecting and storing rainwater, and reduce waste by accurately adjusting the amount of water according to soil moisture during irrigation. The combination of the two reduces building consumption and promotes the goals of green energy efficiency and sustainable development.
