Abstract

Current corporate climate is changing quickly, necessitating creativity, adaptability, and agility. In light of the current state of technological progress, this study has been prepared to evaluate the impact of accounting information systems at banks. Accounting information principles are the most comprehensive and rigorous leads to global acceptance for accounting data. Analysis of accounting information systems (AIS) in the banking industry is crucial since it guarantees accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational effectiveness. Present study envisaged to examine the factors influencing investment decisions for AIS at banking institution, potential benefit of AIS implementation at banking institution, impact of AIS on overall customers experience at banks and challenges faced by the banks in AIS implementation. To achieve these stated objectives primary data gathered from the bank officials and analyzed with the help of tabulation, and suggested to emphasize on the key benefit of AIS, which can particularly appeal to stakeholders concerned with accuracy, audit process and regulatory compliance. Enhancing risk mitigation, fraud prevention and demonstrating AIS mechanism of streamlining the operations and cost reduction also add value for implementation of AIS at banking institution. AIS should be integrated with customer feedback systems to improve customer experience.
