BUDGET POLICY OF THE KRASNODAR KRAI: CURRENT FEATURES AND DIRECTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT

The budget strategy of the regions is of particular importance in the light of the growing economic difficulties from abroad and the internal economic restructuring of the Russian economy. This article examines the budget strategy of the Krasnodar Territory, one of the most economically developed regions of the Russian Federation, as well as its current characteristics and priority areas. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the consolidated budget structure, the dynamics of the gross regional product and the effectiveness of expenditure execution. It is shown how important it is to strategically allocate financial resources, taking into account the potential of the region in the field of tourism, agro-industrial development and investment activity. The presentation of comparative statistics on the problems of the Southern Federal District makes it possible to assess the degree of financial stability of the region and budget discipline. The results of the study emphasize the need to increase the amount of resources allocated to budget planning and management in order to increase the effectiveness of social and economic policy in this area.
