A PERCEPÇÃO DO CUIDADOR DE PACIENTES EM TERAPIA NUTRICIONAL ENTERAL POR CATETER NA TRANSIÇÃO DE CUIDADOS: UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
Objective: To analyze the perception of care for patients receiving enteral nutritional therapy via catheter during the transition of care. Methodology: The research consisted of a Integrative Literature Review (ILR) that utilized inductive, observational, and statistical approaches. Studies available in the PubMed, Scielo, Lilacs, and Medline databases were analyzed, focusing on the application of enteral nutritional therapy (ENT) in critically ill patients. The selection of articles followed inclusion criteria, considering only those published in the last five years. Results: The review resulted in the identification of nine relevant studies on ENT and its administration via catheter. The collected data indicate that ENT is effective in promoting the recovery of critically ill patients but highlight the need for adequate support and guidance for caregivers and family members. Conclusions: This study emphasizes the importance of training caregivers in the management of ENT to optimize patient recovery and minimize complications. Future investigations are recommended to deepen the understanding of the interconnection between caregiver training and clinical outcomes, contributing to the improvement of care practices.
