Inter-Regional Multi-Temporal Scale Trading Optimization Model for Enhanced Renewable Energy Grid Integration and Utilization
The integration of renewable energy introduces significant intermittency and uncertainty into power systems, compounded by the deepening development of medium- to long-term electricity markets. These challenges have led to critical issues for market participants, including substantial prediction deviations, elevated contractual risks, and suboptimal utilization rates. To address these challenges, this study proposes a time-segmented trading framework based on contract curves, integrating energy trading in primary markets with contract transfer/adjustment mechanisms in secondary markets through a coupled market structure. A multi-temporal scale interprovincial trading optimization model is developed to enhance renewable energy grid integration and utilization. The model is solved using the Alternating Direction Method of Multipliers algorithm.
