Congruencia Ética en las Organizaciones, una relación de los valores, políticas y principios empresariales con la toma de decisiones y participación de sus colaboradores

This article presents a description of the ethical congruence of organizations, to know how aligned their actions and actions are with the values, principles and policies established as a guide to their operation. This analysis very close to the case study methodology was based on Adela Cortina's theoretical assumptions and on the design and application of a measurement instrument created to know the perception of Human Management coordinators of 6 companies in the city of Bogotá. For this assessment, three categories were established: communication, participation, and decision-making in the organization. The results obtained lead us to think that in a large percentage the categories evaluated in these six organizations are congruent with the proposed principles and policies, however, it also allows us to reflect on the importance of leaving no gaps in doubt, on how, not always organizations are consistent between what is said and what is done. This type of study opens the possibility of future research on business ethics and on the improvement of good ethical organizational practices, which lead to the experience of ethics as part of all the daily actions of companies, forming part of their ethos and becoming an attitude and a business policy that identifies it as such.
