Collective flow properties in relativistic heavy-ion collisions

In this paper, we present a systematic study of the mean transverse momentum, [Formula: see text], of strange hadrons produced in Au + Au collisions at RHIC-BES energies ([Formula: see text] = 7.7–39 GeV), examining the centrality, particle mass and energy dependence. The behavior of strange hadrons relative to nonstrange hadrons is discussed. The dependence of [Formula: see text] on the reduced hadron mass, [Formula: see text], shows two distinct linear behaviors for mesons and baryons in this energy range, similar with results obtained in p + p collisions at LHC energies. The results are compared with a multiphase transport model (AMPT), default and string-melting versions. We observe that the string melting AMPT model describes the meson [Formula: see text], but underpredicts the (anti)baryon [Formula: see text] in central Au + Au collisions. The default AMPT overpredits the [Formula: see text] meson [Formula: see text], while the baryon and antibaryon data are in general better described by this version of the model.
