A STUDY ON THE OPINIONS OF PEOPLE TOWARDS UNCONTROLLABLE SPENDING DURING INFLATION

Expenditures can be bifurcated as controllable and uncontrollable, those which can be avoided or deferred are controllable and those which cannot be avoided or delayed are uncontrollable.The controllability also varies from person to person and time to time which are based on their perception.The present study focuses on the uncontrollable spending of the people during inflation period, whether they change their spending habits or not and how they react during inflation, what are their perceptions and opinions are main theme.For collecting opinions researcher has collected primary data through structured questionnaire during July,2022 to September, 2022.Total 407 respondents have submitted their answers and Lickert's five scale has been used to collect opinions.One way ANOVA has been used to test the hypotheses and six statements have been asked for opinions of the theme of the study.It has been found from the study that change in demographic variables significant changes have been observed in opinions of respondents, highest difference in place then gender and then after in education, age and income.
