Well-defined zinc( <scp>ii</scp> ) catalysts for sustainable synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes <i>via</i> the activation of aromatic and aliphatic alcohols
This study presents the sustainable synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes catalysed by Zn( ii ) catalysts through ADC of indole and alcohol. A wide substrate scope, including bioactive molecules, are explored with a mechanistic understanding.
