Electrochemical pipette-based analysis on anisotropy in rutile TiO2 for photoelectrochemical hydrogen revolution

Photo-assisted electrochemical electrocatalysis has emerged as a highly efficient approach for promoting the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). Recent advances in atomically controlled growth technologies have introduced complexity to their reactivity with crystal orientation recognized as a critical factor influencing electrocatalytic performance. To analyze the intricate variations in HER behavior, analytical techniques with nanoscale spatial resolution are essential. In this study, we present a systematic investigation on anisotropy in rutile titanium dioxide (TiO2), a typical photocatalyst, for photoelectrochemical hydrogen evolution via electrochemical pipette-based measurement.
