TO STUDY THE DIFFERENT IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS WITH AUTHENTICATION IN MOBILE NETWORK
The paper provides a look at authentication methods, how they help secure communication in mobile networks, and how to put them into practice to make networks more secure. Common techniques in delivering secure services to consumers are also covered. With this, modern mobile networks form the lifeline to connect billions of devices seamlessly without any kind of disruption. The more it spreads out ubiquitously, the more its vulnerability is in facing sensitive data towards threats of unauthorized access and breaches of data. The most vital core within secure communication among mobile networks would be the mechanism for authentication, though found flawed regarding mobile security issues that render a hard choice to distinguish malicious applications from regular applications. The paper introduces a mature attack paradigm that takes advantage of this flaw, where the attackers can login or register one app as a victim. Fake Mask is a privacy checking algorithm that lets fake contexts be released to preserve the privacy of the users. The performance improvement by Fake Mask has been extensively shown through experiments conducted on real smartphone context traces over other approaches. The article delves into the basic principles of authentication, the challenges that mobile networks face, and the advances in authentication technologies. It is critical to mention that authentication is the most sensitive role in ensuring the security of information, hence giving actionable insight into improving the security framework.
