Relação entre o grau de classificação do corpo lúteo e a taxa de concepção de receptoras e embrião bovino produzidos in vitro
Embryo transfer (ET) is a worldwide biotechnology, with the main objective of producing a high number of genetically superior offspring per female within a breeding season. However, in order to obtain satisfactory results, some factors must be considered, such as the ambient temperature, the quality of the embryo and the classification of the recipients. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the influence that the classification of the corpus luteum, with the addition of the use of ultrasound in Doppler mode, has in relation to the conception rate of bovine embryo recipients. To this end, retrospective data from approximately 3,162 recipients of embryos from selected farms in the state of Rondônia, which adopt TE as a method for multiplying superior genetics, were analyzed. The evaluation of the recipients was carried out based on Doppler ultrasound recordings, which provides greater precision in classifying the corpus luteum. The project was conducted in partnership with a laboratory specialized in embryo production and transfer, which provided the necessary data for the research. The recipients who presented CL grade 1 obtained a pregnancy rate of 48%, those with grade 2 of 43% and those with grade 3 of 32%, these results highlight the relevance of these observations in the context of bovine reproduction, data analysis allowed us to identify how different classifications of the corpus luteum affect the conception rate, contributing to the improvement of ET practices and the maximization of productive results.
