Message from the General Chair EDCC 2025

It is my great pleasure to welcome all the participants of the 20th edition of the European Dependable Computing Conference (EDCC 2025) to Lisbon, Portugal. Lisbon, the vibrant capital of Portugal, is a city that effortlessly blends history, culture, and modernity. Situated on the coast of Portugal, where the Tagus River meets the Atlantic Ocean, it boasts a rich cultural heritage, from the medieval quarters to iconic landmarks like the Castle of St. George and the Tower of Bel—m. Lisbon is the home of the University of Lisbon (ULisboa). For over seven centuries, ULisboa has been the largest and most prestigious university in Portugal and one of Europe's leading universities.
