Benchmarking the (1+1) Limited Memory Matrix Adaptation Evolution Strategy on the bbob-largescale Testbed
The (1+1) Limited Memory Matrix Adaptation Evolution Strategy, (1+1)-LM-MA-ES, is a minimal elitist variant of the population-based LM-MA-ES, an evolution strategy for efficient optimization in high-dimensional search spaces. We benchmark the algorithm on the large-scale Black-Box Optimization Benchmarking (BBOB) suite of the Comparing Continuous Optimizers (COCO) framework.
