PENGARUH GAYA KEPEMIMPINAN DAN MANAJEMEN SEKOLAH TERHADAP KOMPETENSI GURU DAN IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP MUTU SEKOLAH SMA NEGERI 4 KOTA LHOKSEUMAWE

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the principal's leadership style and school management on teacher competence and its implications for school quality, both directly and indirectly, at SMA Negeri 4 Kota Lhokseumawe. The research method is quantitative with causal analysis. The population and sample in this study are 60 teachers using a census method. The data analysis technique used is path analysis with SPSS. The influence of the principal's leadership style on education quality is 67.3%. The influence of school management on school quality is 64.3%. The influence of teacher competence on school quality is 49.8%. The influence of the principal's leadership style on teacher competence is 41.5%. The influence of school management on teacher competence is 42.1%. The influence of the principal's leadership style on school management is 65.3%. The influence of the principal's leadership style on school quality through competence is 71.7%. The influence of school management on school quality through teacher competence is 74.3%. The combined influence of the principal's leadership style, school management, and teacher competence on school quality is 75.8%.
