Peranan sektor pariwisata terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah di Kabupaten/Kota Wilayah Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta tahun 2014-2023

Objective – This study aims to analyze the simultaneous effects of the number of tourists, travel agencies, hotels, and tourist attractions on Regional Original Income (PAD) across regencies and cities in the Special Region of Yogyakarta Province. Method – This study uses panel data to determine the influence of the tourism sector, with the variables of the number of tourists, the number of travel agencies, the number of hotels, and the number of tourist attractions, on Regional Original Income (PAD).Findings – This study found that the number of travel agencies, hotels, and tourist attractions significantly and positively influenced the regional original income variable. Meanwhile, the number of tourists also influenced the regional original income.Implication – These findings indicate that tourism sector development should be directed not only at increasing the number of tourist visits but also at improving the quality of supporting facilities such as hotels, travel agencies, and the diversification of tourist attractions.Originality – This study contributes to panel data analysis for tourism with various variables on Regional Original Income (PAD). AbstrakTujuan – Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh secara simultan jumlah wisatawan, jumlah biro perjalanan, jumlah hotel, dan jumlah objek wisata terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD) Kabupaten/Kota di Provinsi D.I Yogyakarta. Metode – Penelitian ini menggunakan data panel untuk mengetahui pengaruh sektor pariwisata dengan variabel jumlah wisatawan, jumlah biro perjalanan, jumlah hotel, dan jumlah objek wisata terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD).Temuan – Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa jumlah biro perjalanan, hotel dan objek wisata dalam penelitian ini mempengaruhi variabel pendapatan asli daerah secara signifikan dan positif. Sedangkan variabel jumlah wisatawan berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan asli daerah. Implikasi – Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengembangan sektor pariwisata harus diarahkan tidak hanya pada peningkatan jumlah kunjungan wisatawan, tetapi juga pada peningkatan kualitas fasilitas pendukung seperti hotel, biro perjalanan, dan diversifikasi objek wisata.Orisinalitas – Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada analisis data panel untuk pariwisata dengan berbagai jenis variabel yang berbeda terhadap Pendapatan Asli Daerah (PAD).
