This study aimed to examine the association between mindful eating on emotional eating among college students, and the mediating role of interoception. A total of 611 college students were recruited (Mage = 20.54 years, 248 male). Dutch eating behavior questionnaire, Multidimensional Assessment of Interoceptive Awareness, and Mindfiil Eating Questionnaire were conducted. Correlation analysis revealed that mindful eating and interoception were negatively correlated with emotional eating. Mindful eating had a direct effect on emotional eating. Additionally, there was a signifcant indirect effect from mindful eating to emotional eating via higher interoception.
