Neuromorphic and Ising Computing using Emerging Non-Volatile Memory Devices for Edge Applications: Wireless Communication and Robotics
Both neuromorphic computing and Ising machines are emerging computing paradigms that involve device-circuit-system-algorithm co-design and are targeted towards edge applications owing to the high-speed and lowenergy advantages they offer. Here, we discuss three works we have carried out related to neuromorphic and Ising computing with a focus on edge applications: The first design is carried out at the device level, the second at a circuit level, and the third at an algorithm level. But all designs utilize emerging non-volatile memory (NVM) devices.
