Advanced Simulation of Efficient Perovskite Solar Cells: Electrical and Thermal Analysis using Cadence Tools
This study represents a complete detailed analysis of perovskite solar cell (Au/Cul/FASnI3/SnO2/FTO) performance by modeling and simulating an equivalent circuit using cadence software. Initially the ideality factor of perovskite diode is determined for device operation. The diode is modeled with including its essential parameters such as series resistance Rs, shunt resistance Rp, dark saturation current J0, and thermal voltage Vth. The equivalent circuit of a perovskite solar cell was designed using cadence software and simulated to analyze its electrical characteristics, such as I-V (Current-voltage), and P-V (power-voltage) characteristics under dynamic temperature ranging from 273k to 345k. By compared to other software such as COMSOL, SPICE etc. cadence provide a more detailed performance analysis of perovskite solar cell by including temperature variation in its simulation.
