The Application of Time Modulated Digital Metasurfaces in Electronic Countermeasures
Electronic countermeasure concluding radar and communication jamming is the important part of modern warfare. In this paper, a time modulated digital metasurfaces is proposed to achieve radar and communication jamming with the harmonics. With dynamically controlling the time modulated digital metasurfaces' elements, the energy of the carrier signal can be redistributed among various harmonics that carry weighted information. This phenomenon can be effectively utilized for counter-radar deception jamming and blanket jamming for communication. This paper will talk about various types of jamming techniques with the time modulated digital metasurfaces.
