A Filtering and Decoupling Patch Antenna Utilizing Folded Strip Resonator
In this paper, a patch antenna with decoupling and filtering properties is proposed. A folded halfwavelength strip resonator is used to couple the top patch, achieving both high isolation and radiation null. The bandwidth of the antenna unit operating at 3.5 GHz is 5%, while the patch antenna at 3.85 GHz achieves a 10-dB impedance bandwidth of 5.4%. In-band isolation exceeds 25.2 dB, cross-band isolation is above 27.4 dB, and the ECC within the operating frequency band is lower than 0.0015.
