Design of Compact Wideband Circularly Polarized Antenna for Modern Wireless Communications
Based on the CP antenna, two innovative structures are proposed: a new asymmetrical Y-shaped parasitic arm and a new inclined fence. By integrating a new asymmetric Y-shaped parasitic arm patch on the antenna, the impedance matching bandwidth of the antenna has been expanded, and a CP mode has been introduced in the operating frequency band, improving the axial ratio bandwidth and antenna performance. In addition, by adopting a novel inclined gate structure and adding a new resonance point and CP mode, the antenna miniaturization is maintained, and wideband circular polarization performance is achieved. The design of an asymmetrical Y-shaped parasitic arm in a wideband circularly polarized antenna provides a new idea; The new inclined fence structure is widely popular in the 5G era due to its simple structure, miniaturization, and compact design.
