Research on Optimization of Underwater Wireless Power Transmission System Based on Impedance Matching and Composite Topology Switching
The magnetically coupled resonant wireless power transmission (MCR-WPT) has important application value in the field of underwater wireless power transmission because of its great spatial freedom and high safety. However, due to the dynamic charging characteristics of lithium batteries in ships and the influence of seawater environmental parameters (temperature, pressure, biological adhesion, etc.), the load impedance presents time-varying characteristics, which leads to problems such as decreased transmission efficiency and unstable output voltage. Therefore, an optimization scheme of underwater wireless power transmission system based on impedance matching and compound topology switching technology is proposed in this paper. The compound control strategy can not only optimize the transmission efficiency of the system, but also optimize the charging process of lithium battery and prolong the battery cycle life. The experimental results show that the transmission efficiency of the system is stable at about 85% after adding the dual optimization strategy of impedance matching and compound compensation topology switching.
