Analysis of Multi-Physics Field Coupling of Sixway Power Divider
This paper presents an analysis of multi-physics field of power divider, taking three physical fields into account. The primary fields under consideration are electromagnetics, solid mechanics, and solid heat transfer. Moreover, a compensation structure is proposed to reduce the effects arising from the coupling of these physical fields. The power divider comprises three dielectric substrates, three microstrip lines, and two probes. These microstrip segments are connected by the probes, enabling electromagnetic waves to enter through the front port <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$C$</tex> and propagate uniformly along the microstrip lines and probes to the back ports. Operating in the Ka band (<tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$27-30 \text{GHz}$</tex>), the power divider demonstrates return losses exceeding 14.39 dB, six-way output insertion losses of <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$8.81 \pm 0.5 ~\text{dB}$</tex>, isolation greater than 15 dB, and phase shifts within <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\pm 8 \text{deg}$</tex>.
