Montenna: Integrating Computer Vision and Antenna Engineering for Advanced Design
Advancements in AI, computer-aided technologies, additive manufacturing, and robotics are transforming the field of electromagnetics, enabling faster, more efficient, and cost-effective designs. This work introduces a computer visionbased approach using open-source software to design antennas, offering an alternative to traditional manual methods. The method allows even simple hand-drawn sketches to be converted into CAD models for simulation with modern electromagnetic tools. While demonstrated for antenna design, the approach is versatile and applicable to other planar structures, revolutionizing design workflows across various domains.
