Wideband Frequency Selective Rasorber Using Elliptical Resonators
This paper introduces a Frequency selective rasorber (FSR) that offers both wide absorption and transmission bands. The structure consists of a lossy layer and a second order bandpass frequency selective surface. The lossy layer's frame is based on a Jerusalem structure, which incorporates a novel elliptical ring and patch design to generate resonance, resulting in a wideband transmission. The bottom center of the lossy layer is coated with graphene, which serves as the lossy material. The working principle is analyzed using the Equivalent Circuit Model (ECM). The proposed structure achieves a 1 dB bandwidth ranging from 9.1 to 11.2 GHz and demonstrates a wide absorption band below the passband.
