Optimizing Appliance Energy Consumption with IoT Solutions
The rapid growth of IoT technology focuses on automating human tasks for improved efficiency. This paper proposes an IoT -based solution for optimizing energy management in household appliances. The main purpose is to design the system to enhance the efficient usage of fan and light based in human motion. A DHTII sensor regulates fan speed according to ambient temperature, while a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor adjusts light intensity. Motion detection is handled by a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor, ensuring appliances activate only when needed. The XGBoost algorithm is used for the better prediction. This approach promotes a more automated and energy-efficient lifestyle.
