Analysis of the Impact of AUV Swing on the Performance of Submersible Ultra-Short Baseline Direction Measurement
During its navigation process, the AUV experiences periodic swing influenced by ocean currents and waves, which can affect the direction measurement performance of the submerged Ultra-Short Baseline. This paper proposes a universal method for high-precision signal simulation based on the motion of complex ends as a time reference, simulating the received signals of the submerged Ultra-Short Baseline under swing conditions. By analyzing the received signals, the impact of AUV swing on the direction measurement performance of the submerged Ultra-Short Baseline is quantified. Simulation results show that, with the increase of the upsampling factor, the error standard deviation of the signal simulation method in this paper is significantly reduced, when it reaches 10 times, the error standard deviation tends to be stable, and the error is only 3‰ of the signal amplitude. During a signal duration of 0.024 seconds, the maximum change in the target pitch angle due to oscillation is 0.75°, corresponding to a direction measurement error of 0.38°.
