A Novel Multi-Probe Anechoic Chamber Solution for Full Vehicles MIMO OTA Performance Testing
Multi-input and multi-output (MIMO) over-the-air (OTA) testing methods are widely used for mobile terminals to evaluate the performance of multi-antenna devices in various wireless environments. However, traditional probe layout of multi-probe anechoic chamber (MPAC) testing methods applied to mobile terminals cannot meet the large-scale test zone requirements for full vehicles testing. Increasing the number of probes excessively leads to a significant rise in costs. Based on the optimization of existing MPAC probe layout, this paper proposes a dynamic test zone solution, enabling the overall test zone to reach a radius of 2 meters, thus meeting the MIMO OTA testing needs for full vehicles.
