Building an Open Source and Wireless Video Streaming Using ESP32
A low-cost, adaptable online media consumption solution is provided by the open-source ESPFLIX OTT streaming device, which is based on the ESP32-S2 microcontroller. To provide a seamless, integrated streaming experience, it makes use of the ESP32-S2's Wi-Fi, USB OTG, and media streaming features. The project focusses on developing skills in embedded C/C++, ESP-IDF/Arduino programming, Wi-Fi networking, media protocols (HLS, MP3, MJPEG), LVGL or TFT_eSPI UI design, file system integration (SPIFFS, FATFS), and open-source collaboration using Git/GitHub. By giving developers and enthusiasts the ability to alter and expand the platform, ESPFLIX fosters creativity and education and is a potent instrument for multimedia experimentation.
