Agriculture Water Management System Using IoT

To optimize water utilization in agricultural activities, this study proposes a new Agriculture Water Management System that makes use of Internet of Things (IoT) technology. An Arduino Uno microcontroller was utilized in the system, which is integrated with multiple sensors such as temperature, humidity, rain, and soil moisture sensors. Together, these elements monitor and evaluate soil and environmental conditions in real time. The best irrigation needs are ascertained by processing the data that has been gathered. This approach reduces labor expenses, improves water efficiency, and encourages eco-friendly farming methods. The results of the experiment revealed that it is possible to significantly reduce water consumption without sacrificing crop health and demonstrating how the Internet of Things may transform agricultural water management. This system addresses the growing issues of water scarcity and climate variability, and it stands as a scalable and affordable model for contemporary agriculture.
